It is a great honor to be the father of a daughter, because the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his progeny) was also the father of a daughter. In fact, this harmony in life with Messenger of Allah (PBUH) is a great pride and honor. Imam Sadiq (as) says: the prophet of Islam was the father of daughters.
