--The Comoros archipelago ambassador believes that the supreme leader of the Islamic Revolution took a firm and clear stand against the enemies and superpowers.
According to Ahmad N. al-Marzouqi, Supreme Leader’s objection to the interference of the foreign countries in Iran’s internal affairs arises from his clear and active stand in the international arena as he seeks Iran’s independence, might and glory.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran is in a high position among Muslim people and Muslim states. Having no fear of the colonizing states, Iran always articulates its stand against them. Such frankness is envied by leaders as well as people of certain states; they fear for their benefits, yet they admire such a stance taken by Iran”, said the ambassador.
Ambassador of the Comoros archipelago also referred to Ayatollah Khamenei’s decrees concerning maintenance and strengthening of Muslim unity and its constructive impact on the Shia-Sunni relation.
With regard to the importance of unity among Muslims, he referred to verse 92, Surah al-Anbia’ “Verily, this brotherhood of yours is a single brotherhood, and I am your Lord and Cherisher; therefore serve Me (and no other)”, verse 103, Surah Aal-e Imran, “And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves…”, and verse 46 Surah al-Anfal, “... and fall into no dispute, lest ye lose heart and your power depart; and be patient and persevering: For Allah is with those who patiently persevere”, in which Allah has emphasized the requirement of solidarity among Muslims and avoidance of disputes through maintenance of unity among themselves.”
“On the 9th day of Dhul Hijjah of the year 10 Hijri, in his journey towards Arafat, the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) made speeches in which he called all Muslims brothers. He demanded Muslims not to trample on the rights of one another, not to split apart, nor wage war against each other but follow his Sunnah. Arabs and non-Arabs have no superiority over one another except in terms of piety and obedience to God. The Prophet (PBUH) further instructed the audience to let others know of his statements.”
Al-Marzouqi further added, “Following the path of Imam Khomeini, Ayatollah Khamenei urges for the unity and solidarity of Muslim Community enjoined by God and His messenger (PBUH). Ayatollah Khamenei underlines the need to maintain unity by holding fast to the Divine rope, which increasingly strengthens Muslims. He advises Muslims to unite in order to reach their common goals and the truth and avoid discord as it allows the enemies to have command over Muslims.”
