Tehran's Friday Prayers Sermons

Tehran's Friday Prayers Sermons

Tehran's Interim Friday Prayers Leader, Hojjat-ol-Islam Kazem Seddighi, has said development of peaceful civilian nuclear technology is the national aspiration and objective of the Iranian nation.

Speaking to a large crowd of Friday prayers worshippers and the faithful in Tehran, Hojjat-ol-Islam Kazem Seddighi stressed that there is no way that the Islamic Republic of Iran will forego or relinquish its lawful right to develop peaceful civilian nuclear energy.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Tehran's interim Friday Prayers Leader referred to Western negative media campaign against Iran's peaceful civilian nuclear programme, and stressed that Iran's enemies intend to conduct a media and propaganda war against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In further remarks, Hojjat-ol-Islam Kazem Seddighi stressed that Western countries lied when they said they had reached an agreement with Iran, and subsequently accused Iran of not honouring its commitments, but the truth is that the Islamic Republic of Iran, has proved time and again its absolute commitment to its international obligations.

Tehran's interim Friday Prayers Leader pointedly added: "The enemies' hostile plots and schemes will end in failure, just as their military action did".

Turning to Student Day in Iran, which was held on 7 December, Tehran's interim Friday Prayers Leader praised the anti-imperialist and anti-colonialist stance of students in rallies and protests at various universities nationwide, and emphasized that the enemies were disappointed once again because of the vigilance and awareness of the Iranian student movement.
