-- On the occasion of Muharram and martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS), a knowledge contest on “Imam Hussein (AS) in the Quran” is to be held in the Shia dominated region of Sihat, Saudi Arabia, Rassed News Agency reported.
The contest, in which only women participate, is organized by Sihat city’s Anwar-al-Quran women association.
A book on the theme of the contest has been published and distributed in mosques and Hussaynia centers in the region for those who wish to take part.
According to An’am As-Saba’a, head of the Anwar-al-Quran women association, the competition aims to promote the Quranic atmosphere of society, encourage contemplating the Quran, and provide answer to questions on whether there have been implicit mentions of Ahlul-Bayt (AS) in the Quran.
Winners of the contest on Imam Hussein (AS) in the Quran” will receive cash prizes provided by the association.
