-- Iranians residing in Russia held a ceremony yesterday, February 14, mourning the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Reza (AS).
The ceremony was held at Khatam-ol-Anbia Mosque in Moscow. It started after congressional prayers and included eulogies performed by Mr. Azari.
Two other mourning ceremonies are also to be held at the same venue today and tomorrow.
Today, February 15, corresponding with the 30th day of the lunar month of Safar, marks the anniversary of martyrdom of Imam Reza (AS), the 8th Shia Imam. He was martyred by the Abbasid Caliph Ma’mun in the year 818.
