-- Eid-e-Milad, the birthday of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) is celebrated with much pomp in all the towns of the state of Kerala, India.
Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) taught people how to make a successful living in the world, and also preached to propagate the message of Peace and Love to all Humanity. To ‘Live according to the Holy Quran, and reach the ultimate destination of Truth’ was his advice to the whole mankind. Through Holy Quran, Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) gave important messages that would be useful for an individual in every moments and situations of his life.
“The absence of such a teacher is a great loss for today’s mankind and the whole world. Our land would not have been in these miserable conditions if we were to be guided by a messenger of Allah like Prophet Muhammed. If the society carefully looks for the preaching of Prophet Muhammed in every step, sometimes the whole generation might have been saved. Islam is the religion of Love and it only teaches lessons of love and peace which leads to ultimate eternal Happiness”, said M. Jaleel, Professor of History and Islamic Studies, talking to TwoCircles.net.
“Allah has made Human Being with lots of Qualities that differentiate him from all other creations of God. From these Human Beings, he selected some to guide the others. Among them, Prophet Muhammed is the last and final who is considered to guide the whole world hereafter, until the last day” said the scholar Syed Sulaiman Nadvi.
“Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) has shown us how to behave in each sectors of life. Like as Son, Husband, Teacher, Merchant through different incidents of his life. He showed us that if we are really devoted to God, he will always shower his blessings upon us” said a homemaker.
It is a habit of every Keralaite to pay real homage or tribute to someone who very near and dear to them. And thus, they celebrate the birth of their beloved Prophet, who is the teacher of all mankind with utmost pleasure.
Eid Milad rallies and colorful processions were held throughout the state yesterday. The processions were colored by children of all ages. They sang songs praising the Prophet, describing the good characters of the Prophet, about the life of the Prophet and so on.
These songs with band music in the background also added to the beauty of the procession. In some places the celebrations began about a week ago.
While small rallies with children were held at tiny towns, the cities had the colorful processions of the youth.
These processions were taken out by different Muslim organizations.
