-- An instructional book in the Albanian (Shqip) language on accurately reading the holy Quran was republished for the fourth time in Kosovo.
According to IQNA’s branch in the Balkans, the book by prominent Iranian Quran reciter Ahmad Abolghasemi was translated into Shqip, edited by Yitmir Chila and published by Kosovo’s Quran Institute.
It has been received well in Kosovo by Quran instructors and those interested in learning to read the holy book and now it has reached its fourth edition.
In a preface to the Shqip version of the book, Mohammad Baqer Salehi, director of Kosovo’s Quran Institute writes that prosperity and salvation in this world and the Hereafter are achieved through learning and acting upon the teachings of the holy Quran.
“According to a hadith by the holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), the Noble Quran was revealed in order to save man from total darkness and lead him to the light of salvation,” he writes.
The instructional book mainly deals with proper and accurate pronunciation of the letters and words in the holy Quran.
