Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), The holy city of Mashhad will play host to the third international festival of Islamic resistance, governor general of the Khorasan Razavi province said.
Mahmud Salahi said discussing the origins of resistance, clarifying different aspects of Islamic resistance and honoring resistance are among the objectives of the festival.
He said holding the festival in Mashhad where the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) is located is a turning point in the festival’s history.
Mr. Salahi called on the province’s cultural organizations to make efforts for best holding the festival.
The third international festival of Islamic resistance is slated to be held in October.
