Ahlul Bayt News Agency, Ummul Momenin Hadrat Khadijah(A.S.) the most beloved wife of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) and the mother of Hadrat Fatima Zahra(A.S.),the only daughter of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) passed away on 10th Ramazan in Makkah three years before the Hijrah of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) from Makkah to Madinah.
In the month of Rajab three years before Hijrah,the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) lost his guardian, Hadrat Abu Taleb(A.S.) and Hadrat Khadijah(A.S.) his beloved wife.
Due to this great loss and grief, the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) called that year as "The Year of Sadness".
Ummul Momenin Hadrat Khadijah was the richest person in the Arabian peninsula and was famous as "Ameerat-Quraysh". She was the first woman to embrace Islam and sacrificed all her wealth in sacred and noble cause of Islam. It is a historical fact that "Islam did not rise except through Imam Ali's sword and Hadrat Khadijah's wealth."
On the sad occasion of the passing away of Ummul Momenin Hadrat Khadijah(A.S.) we extend our Heartfelt Condolences to the 1800 Millions strong Muslim Ummah.
