-- A Quran teachers training course kicked off today in the holy city of Qom, IQNA’s correspondent in Qom reports.
According to Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Javad Azimi, over 100 individuals took part in the entrance exam which was held in July and 28 attained the minimum required score to attend the Quran training course.
He said the course is taught by eminent Quran scholars with years of experience in teaching the holy Quran. They include masters Houriad, Tafakkori, Fa’al, Behbudi and Takfallah.
He added that classes are held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a week and participants who can pass the exams successfully will receive a certificate at the end of the course.
Referring to the great Quranic potentials in Qom Province, Hojat-ol-Islam Azimi expressed hope that more such courses would be held for training qualified Quran teachers in the province.
