“Quran, Nahjul Balaqa in Mirror of Art” Exhibition in Istanbul

On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, “Quran and Nahjul Balaqa in the Mirror of Art” has been held at Art Gallery of Istanbul Municipality by Iran Cultural Center in Turkey. 

 The exhibition was opened with the presence of Heidari, consul of Iran Embassy in Turkey, Sedqizadeh, Iran cultural attaché to Turkey, Mohammad Sa’eed Naqqashian, Iranian calligrapher, a number of Turkish artists and Iranian staff in Istanbul. 

 Over 50 artworks by the artist including tableaus on Tholth and Mo’alla scripts, traditional illuminations, modern calligraphy of Quran’s verses and some of Imam Ali’s (AS) aphorisms in Nahjul Balaqa have been displayed to the public. 

 Held in cooperation with the Iranian Computer Research Center of Islamic Sciences, the exhibition has also presented various Quranic software such as Jame’-ul-Tafasir covering more than 1400 books of Shia and Sunni interpretations of the holy Quran along with Tarteel, recitation and translation of the verses into over 25 languages. 

 Menhaj-un-Noor which includes the full text of Nahjul Balaqa along with its recitation, translation and explanations is the other software displayed by the center. 

 The Iranian artist has presented his artworks on Quran and Nahjul Balaqa at more than 25 exhibitions inside the country and 8 international exhibitions abroad. 

 The cultural deputy of Istanbul Municipality has also cooperated to hold the exhibition which will host the visitors for 8 days until August 7.
