Imam Reza (AS) Festival Held in Thailand

Iran Cultural Center in Thailand held Imam Reza (AS) Art Cultural Festival from October 9 to 12 at Imam Ali (AS) Mosque of Iranian School. 

 The four-day festival included a forum on the status of Divine leaders, an exhibition of artworks and different parts of Imam Reza’s (AS) holy shrine and a movie featuring Imam Reza’s (AS) life in Thai language. 

 The forum was held at Imambarah of Bangkok with the presence of Iranian ambassador to Thailand, Iran cultural attaché, representative of Al-Mustafa International University, scholars, Shia Muslim figures, staff of Iran embassy and their families, Iranians residing in Thailand and Thai, Arab, Hindi and Pakistani Shias. 

 The program was addressed by Sheikh Abdul Ghayyum, prayer leader and preacher of the Imambarah who welcomed the participants and Jalal Tamleh, Iran cultural attaché in Thailand. 

 The Iranian official stated that although great successes have achieved in the development of sciences and technology, human communities are suffering from more problems and noted that the problems will be solved by following Divine leaders. 

 Hojat-ol-Islam Khaleqpur, the representative of Al-Mustafa International University also talked about Imam Reza’s (AS) life and scientific debates. 

 Iranian Tawashih group performed their program at the end of the ceremony.
