First caravan of Hajj pilgrims depart from Boshehr to Jeddah on 23 october, 2011

Shabestan news agency reported that yesterday head of Hajj and pilgrim organization in province Boshehr Hojjatol Islam wal Muslimeen Mr.Suleman Behrani said, while talking to the journalists that this year, 5 flights of pilgrims will depart from province Boshehr to Saudi Arabia .
He added that this year the number of pilgrims leaving from province Boshehr is 1159 that have been distributed in 8 caravans.

He said that this year the province the oldest pilgrim is of 86 year of age and youngest is 20.
Hojjatol Islam Behrani said that 754 of the pilgrims of this year are older than 50 years and 57 have age above 80.

He said that this year the number of pilgrims has increased by 25%.
