--A photography exhibition entitled "Islamic Art in 5 Continents" will be hosted by the Madrid-based Spain-Morocco Center in early November. Moroccan website Yabiladi reported that the exhibition seeks to introduce Islamic art to Spainish citizens and encourage them to gain information on Islamic art. It has been also organized in order to feature various aspects of Islamic art in sacred Islamic places and mosques as well as to show the great influence of this art on other cultures and civilizations in 5 continents of the world to Spanish non-Muslims. The center has been founded by Madrid municipality in Spain in order to familiarize immigrants with the life style in the country. Besides various exhibitions, Arabic courses are also planned by the center which consists of an equipped library including sources on Islamic culture in Morocco. |
