First Cultural-Quranic Festival Opens in Saudi Arabia

--Saudi Arabia’s first cultural–Quranic festival started by Cultural Committee of “Umm-al Hamam Charity Association” on September 5 in Qatif province.

According to the Saudi newspaper Dar Al Hayat, a number of Quranic experts as well as Tajweed and Quran recitation teachers will take part at the festival.

Festival organizers have said that the four-day event will provide an opportunity for the youth to evaluate their potentialities regarding Quran recitation.

Various programs such as contests on cultural issues, drawing competition for children and a photo exhibition have been also planned on the sidelines of the festival.
