Ahlul Bayt News Agency - Hujjat al-Islam Ali-Reza Arafi, the president of al-Mustafa International University in an interview with RASA news agency referred to a recent speech by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, where he said: “the United States has the most dishonourable government in the world.”
He explained that this statement is based on the evidence of the dishonourable actions of the American government throughout the world, adding that Imam Khomeini said many years ago that the US is the most hated of all the world’s governments.
Ayatollah Arafi added that in the last fifty years since the US began its global domination, they have launched at least 100 wars, stressing it is astonishing that a government can participate in so many wars and invade so many countries in such a short period of time.
The Friday prayers’ leader of Qom said that all the wars the US has participated in, they have been the aggressor and have committed many crimes, adding that this is contrary to international law and human values. In these wars, the US has used non-conventional and atomic weapons.
Ayatollah Arafi reminded that most of the coups in the Middle East and other parts of the world have been organized by the US. In Iran, they planned the 1953 coup d’état which overthrew the democratically elected Prime Minister of Iran, Mohammad Mosaddegh, and allowed Mohammad-Reza Shah Pahlavi to effectively rule the country as an absolute monarch until the glorious 1979 Islamic Revolution. Most authoritarian, unjust and oppressive rulers throughout the world are supported by the American government.
The Member of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution explained that the US is currently supporting criminal regimes like the House of Saud, adding that Saudi Arabia is current committing crimes against humanity and murdering children in Yemen, but the US has remained silent.
The renowned scholar said the most inhumane cases of human rights abuses continue in the US government and in the CIA and they continue their unprecedented tyranny throughout the world. The people of the world are well-aware of the American’s gross human rights record and the US therefore they are most hated government in the world.
Ayatollah Arafi stated that just as Ayatollah Khamenei has stated, negotiations with the threat of force are meaningless and added that all disputes should be solved by negotiation and compassion.
