Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A group of Iraqi Christians participated in commemorating Ashura day by performing rituals of such an anniversary.
Hedeer Segil Ibrahim – one of the group said, "As Iraqi Christians, we came, carrying our cross, in order to console the Prophet of Islam Mohammed (Peace & Allah's blessings be upon him & his pure progeny) for the martyrdom of Imam Hussein."
He added that it was not the first time to participate in Ashura day rituals. He said further that Imam Hussein is the ideal of humanity, who came to seek reform which we all seek today, and Imam Hussein would always remain in the hearts of Iraqi people.
