Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, on the first day of holy month of Ramadan met a group of first-time-faster girls and boys, and joined their first break-fast.
The meeting which was attended by about 200 first-time fasters, initiated an hour before evening prayer, with the recitation of Holy Quran by chorus of Javadolaemeh (A.S.) and it followed with performance of Hujjat al-Islam Jafari, an educational instructor, and reading a confabulation addressed to magnanimous Imam.
Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Jalal Husseini, Deputy of Propagation and Islamic Relations of Astan Quds Razavi, speaking at the ceremony, pointed to some of the activities of Razavi Holy Shrine serving children and adolescent pilgrims and noted the activation of four centers for children in the four corners of the Razavi Holy Shrine.
Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Ebrahim Raeisi, Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, in the next part of the ceremony, congratulating the arrival of Ramadan to the girls and boys who experience the first year of fasting, said, “As humans strengthen their body through exercise, fasting also strengthens the human soul and spirit.”
He mentioned the attention to the hungry and the needy as another fruit of fasting and said, “Fasting is also beneficial to human health.”
“However, the most important result of fasting is obeying God's command” Hujjat al-Islam Raeisi stressed.
Expressing some points on concepts of Kawthar Sura by first-time faster student was also another arrangement of the intimate meeting of Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi with a group of first-time faster students.
The ceremony came to an end with performing a congregational prayer leaded by Hujjat al-Islam Raeisi, and break-fast of fasters in the vicinity of the Illuminated Grave of Imam Reza (A.S.)
