Question: How to prove a person is Seyyed?

The Grand Ayatollah Makarem: There are two ways which can prove a person is Seyyed:

1. Two just people approve that the person is Seyyed (one is also sufficient).
2. In his own town or area is known that he is Seyyed, whether this reputation causes certainty or supposition.
