The Grand Ayatollah Khamenei answered a question about the condition women must consider before consulting a male doctor.
Question: Are women allowed to consult a male doctor who is specialist in female illnesses when his expertise is higher than female doctors or it is difficult to consult a female doctor?
The Grand Ayatollah Khamenei: If examining and treatment involve Haram looking and touching, it is not allowed to consult male doctor, unless it is impossible or very difficult consulting competent specialist female doctor.
