Question 1: Is eau de cologne clean, and can Salaat be performed after wearing it?

The Grand Ayatollah Sistani: Yes, it is correct.

Question 2: Is it a problem to use foreign eau de cologne which contains alcohol?

The Grand Ayatollah Sistani: There is no problem.

Question 3: I wanted to know the ruling about the use of perfume by ladies outside the house?

The Grand Ayatollah Sistani: There is no problem as long as it is not intended to lead others to Haram.
