We see people who possess magnificent houses and mansions, wealth, property, status in this world, but why the Almighty Allah says in the holy Quran that they have lost all the wealth they and destroyed them? Who these people are with such excellent lives?
Allah says in the Holy Qur'an:
«أُولئِكَ كَالْأَنْعامِ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ»
They are worse than lost cattle. These are the heedless ones
Those who don’t have such lives are licentious and covetous like animals and this life has no advantage in this world and they are losing all their wealth.
It has no benefit for such creature. When wealth, mansions, properties and lands have no benefit for me and they are used to satisfy my lust and stomach, and such a life is inhumane and have no benefit or advantage. What kind of life is this which has no advantage? So at last they will tell that they have gone through a great deal of difficulties to get all these stuffs so they are asking for rewards. They will be told: your stomach and your lust are with you and you spent your whole life to satisfy them so ask them for reward.
The hungry belly which is eternal and the lust that has no effect.
هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ ﴿۱﴾
Have you heard the story of the overwhelming event (the Day of Judgment)? (۱)
وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَاشِعَةٌ ﴿۲﴾
On that day the faces of some people will be humbly cast down, (۲)
عَامِلَةٌ نَاصِبَةٌ ﴿۳﴾
troubled and tired as a result of their deeds in the past. (۳)
تَصْلَى نَارًا حَامِيَةً ﴿۴﴾
They will suffer the heat of the blazing fire (۴)
تُسْقَى مِنْ عَيْنٍ آنِيَةٍ ﴿۵﴾
and will be made to drink from a fiercely boiling spring. (۵)
لَيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِنْ ضَرِيعٍ ﴿۶﴾
They will have no food other than bitter and thorny fruit ۶)
Their foods in the hell are Terrestrial plants that are grown in the hell.
This plant is so hard that the hellfire can’t burn it, it is not a burnable plant.
Is this plant eatable? Absolutely no. but they are forced to eat them.
Allah says in the Quran:
«لا يُسْمِنُ وَ لا يُغْنِي مِنْ جُوعٍ»
Which will neither fatten them nor satisfy them.
Their stomach will be filled with this plant which neither fatten them nor satisfy their hunger
