Where was Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra buried?

Where was Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra buried?

Fatemeh Zahra was born in Mecca after the prophetic mission of the prophet of Islam and eight years before the migration of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and she was married to Imam Ali when she was nine years old.

Since Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra was oppressed after the demise of holy prophet (PBUH), she asked her husband Imam Ali(as) to wash her ceremonially at night, enshroud her at night and bury her at night so that those who oppressed her and caused her martyrdom do not attend her funeral ceremony, she also  decided that her grave be hidden, Imam Ali (as) did what he was asked and now her grave is not known.

In order to mislead and deceive the enemies, Imam Ali made around forty graves in medina.

Although the place of her grave was known by Imam Ali(as) and his sons but none of them were ready to reveal the place of her grave due to Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra,s emphasis and they did not let this divine secret to be revealed.

However, based on available evidence there are three possibilities about the burial place of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra:

1.she has been buried in her house.

  1. In place of Roze (between the pulpit and the home of the Prophet) that the Prophet said it is one of the gardens of Paradise.
  2. in Baqi cemetery.
