In a meeting with officials of IRIB Radio Maaref (Islamic teachings) in Qom, Grand Ayatollah Lotfollah Safi Golpaygani, a Shia source of emulation, hailed this radio station as a great media network in Iran and asserted, "The programs which are broadcasted in Radio Maaref must attract people to Islam and Ahlubayt's (as) teachings."
Appreciating Radio Maaref's programs, the senior cleric pointed out that this radio station has become a rich media for our society; "Promoting valuable Islamic teachings as well as Ahlubayt's (as) doctrine are truly rewarding acts."
Elsewhere in his remarks, the Shia source of emulation urged the officials of Radio Maaref to seek this opportunity and make the best out of the chances they have in order to promote valuable Islamic teachings worldwide.
"Islamic teachings as well as Ahlubayt's (as) doctrine are genuinely original and they must be broadcasted through media including Radio Maaref."
Reiterating that religious misapprehensions propagated by Islam's enemies are spreading worldwide, the senior scholar concluded, "We're all responsible for these misapprehensions and Radio Maaref as a religious medium must address these issues and take meaningful actions."
