Professor Ansarian referring to the question that why Allah the merciful has forbidden backbiting someone and counted its sin equal to eating the meat of that person,s corpse according to Surah al-Hajarat, said: since Allah Almighty values the prestige of a believer so much and respects his personality. He cares about the personality of his believer and does not like that someone damages it by backbiting, so he has closed all the doors of negativity toward his pious servants and counted doing so as forbidden.
