Monotheism is to both believe in the lord of the universe and be a real servant for him, in other words, this belief must emerge in your actions. Then if worshiping is only done for him, not because of fear of the hell or due to the eagerness for the paradise, then you will have a divine power too- the beloved of the universe grants his powers to the pure servant.
