AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): By the efforts of the management of Non-Iranian Pilgrims Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi, a seminar was held with the presence of the Non-Iranian Pilgrims Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi and the religious and cultural elites of Georgia at the Razavi Holy Shrine.
At a meeting last night with a group of Georgian cultural and religious elites and the director of Non-Iranian Pilgrims Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi, the necessity for continued communication and the use of Astan-Quds Razavi’s cultural-religious capacities and the importance of maintaining unity and vigilance towards the conspiracy of enemies was emphasized.
At the meeting, the director of Non-Iranian Pilgrims Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi, stressing that the relationship between the cultural and religious centers of the countries is very important, and above all, could provide the basis for the expansion of relations said, “The Holy Shrine has numerous capacities and we are trying to give this huge capacity to all the lovers of the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.).”
“Nothing can more unite the two nations to the same extent as cultural and religious interests and the Holy Shrines of the Infallible Imams (A.S.) have provided the basis for this affinity,” Seyyed Mohammad Javad Hasheminejad added.
He emphasized that we are working to increase cooperation and interaction with the Shi’ites of Georgia and stated, “This management hosts millions of pilgrims and lovers of the compassionate Imam (A.S.) throughout the year and diverse programs tailored to the specific customs of the countries.”
“This sacred establishment prints books and cultural products in 25 different languages and in cyberspace it produces cultural content in 12 different languages, which we hope by further communication these products be available to those dedicated to divine knowledge and truths,” Hasheminejad expressed.
Following in the meeting, one of the Georgian pilgrims, while expressing his satisfaction with the attendance to the Razavi Holy Shrine said, “It is now more than 25 years since my first trip to Iran, during my seventy years of life this is my best travel destination.”
“It is hoped that this journey will provide the basis for the continuity of communication with this sacred establishment and our youth will be able to visit this sacred place and enjoy the blessings of this pilgrimage,” Isaac Nowruzov added.
“Despite the conspiracies of the enemies and their efforts to create divide between the Shi’ite and Sunni, the sagacity of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution and intellectuals has caused the unity between them to stay strong in Iran,” he commented.
“Fortunately, most of the different religions in Georgia, of course, have a good relationship with each other and many Sunni people are keen on the pilgrimage of Karbala and the holy Mashhad and their number increases day by day,” he expressed.
Abai Pashayev, a journalist and a cultural activist said, “America, Israel and Wahhabism, with the formation of takfiri movements are trying to distort the true Islam and spark clashes between the Muslims.”
“Due to the efforts of the enemies to distort the image of Islam, we try to show the true image of Islam to all by expressing the truths of this religion,” he said, stating that showing their true face will be realized in the light of the introduction of the true Islam.
“The pilgrimage of the Razavi Illuminated Court, along with the Sunni brothers brought us the best of spirit and satisfaction and we hope that the opportunity of this pilgrimage will be given to all the Shi’ites,” the cultural activist remarked.
