The Printing and Publishing Institution of Astan Quds Razavi (AQR) has signed a contract, at the initiative of AQR Center for International Affairs, with Imam Ali (AS) Holy Shrine Foundation for publishing religious books and the Holy Quran.
AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Printing and Publishing Institution of Astan Quds Razavi (AQR) has signed a contract, at the initiative of AQR Center for International Affairs, with Imam Ali (AS) Holy Shrine Foundation for publishing religious books and the Holy Quran.
The contract was signed on Saturday by Faiq Abd al-Hussain Muhammad al-Shammary, head of the Iraqi delegation and representative of the general custodian of Imam Ali (AS) holy shrine, and Masud Farzaneh, managing director at Printing and Publishing Institution of Astan Quds Razavi.
The two sides exchanged views on publication and distribution of the Holy Quran, Nahj al-Balagha, Sahifa Sajjadiyah, Zia al-Salehin, … and continued with setting the details for publication of the Holy Quran in terms of the type of calligraphy and font, color, number of pages, circulation, hardcover copies, etc.
Addressing his Iraqi counterpart, Masud Farzaneh, the managing director of AQR Printing and Publishing Institution, said: Given the high quality of the products at this institution, using best quality materials and modern machinery, we promise to publish the ordered books in best quality and materials for the holy shrine of Imam Ali (AS).”
Muhammad al-Shammary, in turn, pointed to the mutual agreement, noting that “Honesty, good hospitality and high quality of products were among the major factors that convinced us to select Printing and Publishing Institution of Astan Quds Razavi for our printing and publishing orders.”
He added: “We intend to pave the way for more joint activities between Astan Quds Razavi and the holy shrine of Imam Ali (AS) or the Alavi Foundation, to be a precursor to more mutual cooperation.”
The Secretariat of Holy Shrines and Sacred Sites Summits at the AQR Center for International Affairs has established effective and dynamic relations with the Iraqi and Syrian custodianships of holy shrines and sacred sites following an order by the general custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, the body in charge of the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS).
