Irfanullah, a 6 year old boy from Afghanistan has managed to memorize the entire Quran in 8 months. According to Hamidullah Noruz, head of the council of Ghazni Province in Aghanistan, the child prodigy started memorization of the Quran’s verses when he was 5 years old. He noted that the council has requested Afghan president to provide an opportunity for the child to continue his studies in one of the Islamic countries. Nasrullah, his father, said that he has memorized the verses at Dar-ol-Hoffaz School under the supervision of Bakht Mohammad, Quran reciter of the country. Although the war in Afghanistan has not ceased completely, there are various centers actively holding Quranic courses for the youth and children.
