Speaking on the special programs for the holy month of Ramadan, A Nigerian expert said, " attempts have begun last month to carry out legal prosecuation in the supreme court of Nigeria regarding the Zaria incident in order to protect the rights of Shia citizens,"
Abdallah Tanko had in interview with Hawzah News on the latest issues regarding Sheikh Zakzaky's conditions during the holy month of Ramadan.
Ramadan in Nigeria
Speaking on the conditions of Nigerians during the holy fasting month of Ramadan, he said, "Like all the other muslim countries, we observe special programs and activities for this holy month in Nigeria, such as holding Quranic interpretation sessions which began since the beginning of Ramadan and will continue to be held untill the end of this month in all Shia centers througout the country. We also hold ceremonies for reciting Dua Iftitah everynight after the evening prayers in Nigerian Mosques,"
"Moreover, People engage in charitabe actions and make donations to the needy and less fortunate during this month," he added.
