An Islamic awareness exhibition highlighting the religion's values will start on Wednesday at Al Ansar Centre, Umm Al Hassam.
The five-day event, entitled The Light, will be held under the patronage of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa.
It is being organised by the centre, which operates under the umbrella of the Muslim Education Society.
The exhibition will feature book festivals, competitions for students, Quran learning classes, public speeches by scholars, essay competitions for the public and souvenirs.
A logo representing the exhibition has been released for the centre's branches in Salmaniya and Muharraq.
