Registration for the 11th edition of The UAE's national Quran memorization contest called "Al-Hafiz Al-Mawatin" is underway all over the country.
According to Al-Bayan newspaper, the competition will be held on November 4 in Dubai by the organizing committee of Dubai Holy Quran Award.
Ibrahim Muhammad Bumilhah, head of the committee, said those willing to participate in the Quranic competition can register via the website of the event.
He added that those who can not register online can refer to the new buiding of the committee in Mamzar region in Dubai and fill the registration form of the competition.
Muhammad Abdulrahim Sultan Al-‘Ulama, a member of the committee and head of the Competitions Section, said the national Quran memorization contest will be held for two groups of male and female participants.
He also said that 10 top Quran memorizers of the country will be awarded at the end of the contest
