“During the current situation of country, the government has distressed masses by showing hastiness with regard to Mumtaz Qadri’s punishment and has committed a great mistake by not giving a thought to religious parties’ recommendations.
Not fulfilling legal importunities is the incompetency of rulers, Namoos e Risalat is part of every Muslim’s faith. Why rulers are not taking any action against killers of thousands of Pakistanis and their facilitators, including those involved in incidents of Model Town, Data Darbar and the one that took place at Abdullah Shah Ghazi’s mausoleum”.
These thoughts were expressed by head of MWM Pakistan Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri while talking to the chairman of Sunni Ittehad Council Sahibzada Hamid Raza, over the phone.
He further said “pick and choose process in war against terror is part of foreign agenda and we are with our Barelvi brothers in this sad hour. Extremist elements are free all over the country, including Punjab. We condemn this process of balance policy”.
He said that “Ulema and politicians should have played their role for mediating between both the parties in such a sensitive matter. If Raymond Davis could be excused then why rulers neglected such a sensitive issue. We should beware of conspirers present between us who could use the situation for accomplishing their own goals".
