Islamabad Cultural Festival ends with presence of delegation of Imam Ali Holy Shrine

AhlulBayt News Agency - The activities of (breeze of Karbala) Cultural Festival was ended in the Pakistani capital Islamabad, where Imam Ali Holy Shrine participated with official delegation from departments of Religious Affairs, Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, Media and Public Relations Affairs.

The closing ceremony of the festival took place in the courtyard of Al-Kawthar University in the presence of representatives of the holy shrines and His Eminence Sheikh Mohsin Ali Najafi, the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority in Najaf and the Iraqi ambassador in Islamabad and a gathering of scholars.

The delegate of Imam Ali Holy Shrine narrated that "the ceremony began with a recitation from the Holy Quran to the reader Humam al-Kadhimi from Kadhimiya Holy Shrine. Then, the speech of His Eminence Sheikh Mohsin Ali Najafi, who thanked Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, who was the sponsor of this great festival. Sheikh Najafi, also, thanks all the participated holy shrines for their activities in the festival in Islamabad.

Then, some graduate elite students were given the honor of wearing the turban by Sheikh Mohsin Ali Najafi and the in-kind gifts were distributed among the attendees.

The ending ceremony witnessed draw lots to the winning ticket to visit the holy shrines in Iraq, which was the suggestion of Imam Ali Holy Shrine. Imam Ali Holy Shrine will pay the costs of ten visitor who won the lots. Imam Hussein and Imam Abbas Holy Shrine will do the same for twenty people.
