“Creating nice images in front of the pilgrims’ eyes is an important action; however, more important than that is to show humility, modesty, loyalty, and harmony, derived from Islamic ethics and Razavi conduct to pilgrims” he continued.
“In all parts, including roads, passenger terminals, accommodation, transportation, etcetera, we should try to do our best to meet the demands of the guests of Imam Reza (A.S.). Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi reiterated.
“Relieving poor people’s problems and taking care of the poor and needy pilgrims and fairness to pilgrims are among the lasting benefits which should be considered in our host culture” Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi stated, pointing to the mortal and lasting benefits.
“In the Fortieth, (anniversary of the fortieth day of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (A.S.)), we see that all the city is hosting the pilgrims, and all professions get active in order to serve at least 12 million people. If all people also cooperate with each other in the holy city of Mashhad, a lasting and appropriate pilgrimage will stay in the pilgrims’ minds,” he explained, raising the topic of Iraqi people’s giving service to the pilgrims of Husseini Fortieth as an example in this regard.
A Nice Memory of the Pilgrimage
“We should behave in such a way that whenever pilgrims remember Mashhad trip, sacrifice, forgiveness, loyalty, purity, intimacy, love, trust in God, and attention to guests are formed as values in their minds” Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi stated in another part, stressing that the memory of the pilgrimage is formed from source to source.
“In this process, the government, Astan Quds Razavi, non-governmental sectors, etcetera, all must be coordinated with each other and make an appropriate atmosphere in the collection of Razavi holy places and out of them” Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi said, mentioning that from the pilgrims’ perspective, pilgrimage is a continuous process.
“Showing munificent morality and the behavior having the color and tone of kindness and romance to the kind Imam (A.S.) has no contradiction with economic activities and earning profit, and all neighbors as tradesmen, drivers, hotel owners, etcetera can provide the pilgrim’s satisfaction in this way” board member of the Assembly of Experts of the Leadership said, emphasizing the role of the neighbors to Imam Reza (A.S.) in this process.
“Today, according to the pilgrims’ point of views and needs, a review of the service processes in order to reduce the distance between the desirable status and the status quo seems necessary” he explained, also appreciating the efforts made so far in order to facilitate the pilgrimage of Imam Reza (A.S.) by various institutions.
“We must act in such a way that we can respond to the Almighty God in the first place and then, to have a defendable function toward the clients, the public, and regulatory bodies” Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi stressed.
Planning for the Summer Pilgrims

We Are the Servants for the Guests of the Greatest Host

“It is said that when he attended Mashhad, he did not make a pilgrimage very often and allocated more time to do other activities related to fellow pilgrims in the same accommodation because he considered serving the pilgrims as a higher priority to pilgrimage” he explained, pointing to the approach of the late Ayatollah Baha al-Dini at the time of his attendance to the holy city of Mashhad.
“This is very nice manner which anyone in his/her shop, while working, also serve pilgrims of Imam Reza (A.S.).” Tavakkoli Zadeh also said, pointing to Mashhadi honey seller who used to serve the pilgrims of Imam Reza (A.S.) through safekeeping and providing wheelchairs for them.
“In Iraq, we see that each person serves the pilgrims to the extent that he/she can and with love. Even those who have no special assets, by methods such as allowing the pilgrims to use their furniture and washing machines in their homes, providing power supply for charging pilgrims’ mobile phones, etcetera cooperate” he explained, also quoting a few memories of Iraqi people’s service to the pilgrims of the Husseini Fortieth.
