Intellection and contemplation are so much vital that in a narration the holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) said: " contemplating for one hour is better than seventy years of worship", comprehending such truth may be difficult for some people, they may ask how is it possible that one hour of contemplation is considered better than seventy years of worship? But a little contemplation and thinking will lead one to fathom out this truth that an hour of contemplation has the capacity which its value not only can be greater than seventy years but even more than one thousand years. Consider a person who has not accepted the guardianship of the infallible Imams due to his ignorance or following the religion of his ancestors. This person has said seventy years of prayers without guardianship (Welayat) and has been deprived of a great deal of teachings. Now if this person contemplates and thinks sincerely and without any kind of biases about the verses and narrations regarding the guardianship of the commander of the faithful, Imam Ali (A.S) and Ahlulbayt and this contemplation of him result in acceptance of the guardianship of Ahlulbayt and the change of his religion, is this one hour of contemplation not better than seventy years of worship
